Globitel Signs Two Roaming Settlement Contracts

Jordan based roaming services provider, Globitel has announced the signing of a couple of new operator contracts. The firm will be one of the roaming providers for Zain, across all its networks and has also signed a deal with Pakistan based ufone, also for roaming settlement.

Zain's Group relationship with Globitel started a few years ago with the signing of agreements for Zain Group subsidiaries in Jordan, Bahrain and Sudan.

"Zain Group has always been one of the leading Mobile Operator Groups; it is our pleasure to have been selected as a supplier of roaming solutions to its subsidiaries." Said Mr. Samer Halawa, President - Globitel "We really hope that this relationship will prosper to even higher levels in the near future."

Pakistan's ufone is a subsidiary of state owned landline operator, PCTL - although Etisalat has a 26% stake and management control of the company.
