Ukrainian Operators Boost Indoor Coverage
Indoor coverage infrastructure vendor, MobileAccess say that two of Ukraine's mobile network operators, Kyivstar and MTS have adopted its kit to boost coverage reliability. The MobileAccess solution has already been deployed in a number of properties in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev. These deployments include the five-star Hyatt Regency Kiev, a hotel and conference centre, as well as the city's tallest building, the Parus Business Centre.
The MobileAccess EnCOVER network gives end users consistent GSM-900/1800 connectivity no matter where they are within the massive facilities.
"The modern designs used in the building of new commercial and hospitality facilities always incorporate steel and glass construction materials, which impede radio signals and limit wireless coverage," said Cathy Zatloukal, CEO, MobileAccess. "As a result, an in-building wireless network that alleviates these barriers is a must have. By using our technology, Hyatt and Parus can offer guests and tenants seamless wireless coverage as they move around the site, attracting new business and ensuring the return of customers to their facilities."
The Hyatt Regency Kiev is the latest addition to MobileAccess' broad array of hospitality customers, which includes M Resort and Aliante Station Casino in Las Vegas, Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center in Pennsylvania, Grand Lakes in Orlando and Peppermill Hotel Casino in Reno.
