Vodafone Australia Announces Android Phone Launch Details
Vodafone Australia has confirmed that customers will be able to purchase the new HTC Magic mobile device from Vodafone stores around the country from Monday, June 15. Vodafone will be offering the HTC Magic in either black or white - the white version being exclusive to Vodafone in Australia.
Additionally, Vodafone’s first Android-powered mobile will feature software enhancements such as Firmware-Over-The Air (FOTA) and the ability to geo-tag pictures. The device will come pre-loaded with Google’s suite of services such a Gmail, Google Maps and Google Search and Vodafone will also give customers a 24-month warranty with the device.
With FOTA, Vodafone customers will always have the very latest Android software on their HTC Magic device as Vodafone will push out firmware upgrades to ensure any improvements, developed over the coming months, are automatically downloaded onto customers’ devices. This ensures customers will always enjoy the best possible user experience with the Vodafone HTC Magic mobile device.
