Spirent Wins Chinese Contract for Signaling Conformance Testing
Spirent Communications has announced that China Telecommunication Technology Labs (CTTL) has selected its C2K-ATS SC system for mobile phone signaling conformance and Removable User Identity Module (R-UIM) testing.
"Since the issuance of 3G licenses and the launch of EV-DO networks in China, signaling conformance and R-UIM testing in real networks has became critical," said Zhang Xiang, director of wireless communication at CTTL. "With the Spirent C2K-ATS SC system, we have superior mobile phone testing capabilities to provide reliable certification and validation services which ultimately ensure the delivery of high quality services to wireless subscribers. We look forward to working closely with Spirent in the future as mobile communication technologies evolve."
C2K-ATS SC enables signaling conformance and interoperability testing of 3G CDMA devices and has the ability to operate in multiple band classes and radio configurations. The fully integrated C2K-ATS SC test system automates test execution to enable many scenarios to be run in a relatively short time. This approach reduces the required level of valuable engineering resources necessary for conducting test strategy execution.
