Comium Wins WiMAX License in Rwanda
Comium Group Holding says that its subsidiary, Comium Data has been selected by Rwanda's Utilities Regulatory Agency (RURA) as the winner of a new WiMAX operators license. This license marks Comium Data's 11th license awarded, with footprint encompassing East and West Africa, together with an operation in Lebanon.
"We are excited to have Comium Data awarded this license, reflecting on its growth plans, we believe that Comium Data will bring new world of services enabling our economic, educational and health care development of the nation," said Col. Diogene Mudenge - Managing Director at Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Agency
Comium Data finds Rwanda as an ideal country for investment, where Last year alone, it was estimated that the total value of Rwanda's ICT sector had surpassed the $50 million mark.
