Billboard Changes Ringtone Provider

Mobile content provider, Thumbplay says that it has taken over the contract to provide ringtones to music firm, Billboard's website customers. Links to mobile music previews and downloads, available exclusively from Thumbplay, will be available on all chart and artist pages throughout the Billboard.com site, effective immediately.

"Obviously, Billboard.com is a must-visit online destination for music enthusiasts and, through access to all of our chart-topping artists, we give them a chance to take that experience with them on their mobile phones."

As of today, with ThumbplayÃ's extensive library and exceptional service, Billboard.com will deliver the instant gratification fans demand."

The company took over the contract from previous supplier, Hands-On-Mobile.
