Svenska UMTS-Nät Orders Multi-Network CDR Platform

Polystar OSIX, a supplier of OSS/BSS solutions, has announced that 3G operator Svenska UMTS-Nät, the joint venture between Tele2 and TeliaSonera has signed a long-term Operation Service Agreement to generate CDRs for Multi Operator Core Network (MOCN).

By measuring the actual usage of the shared 3G network, Polystar OSIX solution enables Svenska UMTS-Nät to capture real time information for its CDR based accounting system. The monitoring system creates CDRÃ's for every individual video, SMS and voice calls or for other packet data services, transported through the network, including information of actual bandwidth usage on a per-subscriber level. This functionality supports MOCN, non-MOCN or pre-MOCN networks.
