Vodafone Germany Expands Shazam Music Service
Music identity service, Shazam says that it is expanding its existing partnership with Vodafone Germany to offer ShazamÃ's music discovery application alongside the already popular IVR service. The new application, MusicFinder with Shazam, allows users to capture music instantly on their handsets, share their new discoveries with friends, and purchase music products through the Vodafone Music Store.
Vodafone Germany customers will be able to download the MusicFinder application direct to their handset from the Vodafone Live! Portal and get a 30 day free trial after which they can subscribe to get unlimited usage for €2.99 per month. Customers can use the MusicFinder with Shazam application as well as the IVR service for just 49 euro cents per use.

With recommendations for new music, track reviews, artist biographies and the ability to purchase tracks, albums, ringuptones and ringtones Shazam allows our customers to effortlessly capture and share their music without constraints."

Shazam has been working with Vodafone Germany since 2003. Users of the new MusicFinder with Shazam service will be able to access a vast database of more than six million tracks, with access to reviews, artist biographies and music videos.
