Catapult Secures Additional LTE Test Contracts

Test systems vendor, Catapult Communications has announced three additional Long Term Evolution (LTE) contract wins. Catapult says that it recently received an LTE test system purchase order from one new LTE customer and verbal commitments from two additional new LTE customers.

The Company has now received initial commitments from a total of six major customers around the world for LTE test systems, all based on Catapult's DCT2000 product. Shipments of the LTE test systems began earlier this year but are not expected to contribute significantly to revenue until the quarter beginning January 1, 2009.

According to Dr. Richard A. Karp, Catapult's Chairman and CEO, "The commitments received to date indicate both that LTE is creating significant demand in the telecom test market and that Catapult will continue to be a leader in meeting this demand."
