Deutsche Telekom Still Interested in French 3G License
The head of Deutsche Telekom, Ron Sommer has said in an interview in the French newspaper, La Tribune, that the company is still interested in acquiring a 3G license in France. "We never definitively said no to France.... But we said no to a third (UMTS) licence under the conditions that have been prescribed until now." he said. Deutsche Telekom had been linked with Bouyges Telecom which withdrew from the auction last week."
