Samsung UK Marketing Manager Returns to Motorola

Just a month after he left Motorola UK to head up Samsung UK's marketing department, James King is to return back to Motorola. He resigned from Samsung a few days ago, citing personal reasons - which in some media had been reported as a family bereavement.

However, it emerged today that he has now accepted a job back with his former employer. Samsung is now hunting for a new marketing manager, after their previous chief, Susan Land left for Nokia earlier this year. Samsung has also recently managed to poach Matthew Brum from Sony Ericsson to take up the role as the new head of product management.

King had been apparently working on the launch of the new U800 and Omnia handsets before deciding to leave the company. Motorola's European handset chief, Vik Patel left the company two weeks ago.
