Optus Launches PrePay Mobile Broadband Tariff

Australian mobile operator, Optus has launched a Pre-Paid wireless broadband tariff allowing customers to surf the internet for as much or as little as their budget allows - putting customers in control of their wireless broadband.

"Optus is incredibly excited to launch this industry first product. We are continuing to see a strong thirst in our customer base for mobile wireless broadband, and launching a prepaid version means more customers can get online on their own terms," Michael Smith, Optus Consumer Group Marketing Director, said. "As well as wireless broadband now being available in Pre-Paid, we have launched a new slimline USB Wireless Modem. Customers simply connect to their computer like a regular USB device and they are up and running. And when they get hungry for more data - they can simply recharge.

"We have a range of broadband solutions to meet our customerÃ's needs, and this is another innovative product offering convenience and freedom," Mr Smith said.

Customers can enjoy the freedom of Optus Pre-Paid Wireless Broadband with a special offer of $199 which includes USB Modem, SIM Card and 2GB data. We have also launched a range of introductory offers for recharge starting from as little as $30 for 30 days.
