UPDATE: Qtel May Pay $2B for Remaining 44.9% of Indosat - Source

Qatar Telecom, or Qtel, is willing to pay as much as $2 billion for the remaining 44.9% of PT Indosat shares but is still waiting for the approval of its bid from Indonesia's market regulator, a person familiar with the plans said Wednesday.
