Homeless Man Living on Roof of T-Mobile Shop

A man in the US city of Boulder has been arrested after he was found to have been living on the roof of a T-Mobile retail store. He has apparently been living there unnoticed by T-Mobile staff since last December.

The police report says that they spotted Luke Barrett, 25 climbing onto the shop roof at around 10:40pm last Friday and suspecting a burglar, called for assistance. Following a brief attempt to evade the police, he was arrested without resistance and told the police that he is homeless and had been living on the roof for some months.

"Luke told me he stays there because he is left alone, no one knows he's there and his personal items are secure when he sleeps on the roof," police reported.

He has already pleaded guilty to charges of trespassing and obstructing an officer after he failed to stop when told to, and has been sentenced to seven days in jail.
