T-Mobile Terminates Sales Contract with Top Business Partner

T-Mobile UK's Business Partner of the Year for the past three years, Olive Communications has suddenly had its reseller contract with the company terminated - reportedly over a contractual dispute. The company faces the potential lose of some 25,000 corporate T-Mobile accounts if is unable to either resolve the dispute or migrate the customer base to another mobile operator. The company signed its 30,000 subscriber last month, when Ramesys ordered 500 new data cards to enable the delivery of a mobile data solution for computers in schools.

Neither party has commented on the dispute.

Olive director Rob Saffman told the UK trade magazine, Mobile News: "We are disappointed to have our business relationship with T-Mobile terminated and will take appropriate steps to resolve our contractual issues quickly."

"We are doing everything in our powers to ensure a positive outcome from this dispute. Both T-Mobile and Olive have lessons to learn from this, namely that parties in dispute should speak to each other at the earliest possible opportunity."

The company's website - which has a banner promoting their trading relationship with T-Mobile - says that an average of between 2,000 and 3,000 voice and data communications users upgrade or switch to Olive each month. Olive was founded in 2002 by MD Mark Geraghty and Sales Director Rob Saffman.
