Tecnomen Wins Lat-Am Billing Contract
Tecnomen says that it has received an order for its Convergent Charging solution in Latin America with an unnamed network operator. The order consists of capacity expansion, maintenance services and new charging functionality and is in total US$12 million.
Delivery of this order starts immediately in June and will be completed during 2008.
The Tecnomen Convergent Charging solution includes functionality for prepaid and post-paid billing, charging and rating of voice calls, video calls, raw data traffic and any type of content services in both mobile and fixed networks. The solution includes a new range of value-added services optimised for increasing ARPU. Tecnomen Convergent Charging has been pre-integrated with network equipment from leading network vendors, and supports simultaneous use of different network standards including GSM, TDMA and CDMA.
