ClearSky Mobile Media has signed a new long term contract with Guamcell to deploy its suite of wireless content and data services. Guamcell, located in Tamuning, Guam is the first carrier that simultaneously operates both GSM and CDMA networks to implement ClearSky's suite of services.
The terms of this multi-year agreement call for Guamcell to deploy ClearSky's complete, end-to-end solution that includes hosted WAP and MMS-C service, along with support systems.
"As the largest carrier in a very competitive market it is important for Guamcell to maintain our position of leadership in all that we do. ClearSky's ability to bring a comprehensive suite of mobile data services to our ever-expanding subscriber base played a key role in our decision," said Ed Camacho, Guamcell director of sales and marketing. "Moreover, ClearSky's technical expertise and thorough understanding of the nuances of implementing mobile data services in a dual network environment easily won the endorsement of our network engineering team."
"ClearSky is delighted to add Guamcell as the newest member of our fast growing client community," said ClearSky executive vice president of sales, Tony Tagliareni. "Guamcell's confidence in ClearSky's ability to deploy one technical solution to service both their GSM and CDMA networks, affirms ClearSky's position as industry-leading experts in mobile data services."
