Apple Awards the Swiss Rights to the iPhone

Yet more iPhone announcements - this time from long expected participant, Switzerland's Swisscom. In an increasingly typically short statement the Swiss operator confirmed that it would be offering Apple's iPhone later this year.

The company said it would clarify later if the deal was exclusive or which version of the iPhone would be offered. Swisscom has previously said that it has detected some 25,000 unlocked iPhones being used on its network.

  • Singapore (Singtel)

  • Australia (Optus & Vodafone)
  • Italy (TIM & Vodafone)
  • Czech Republic (Vodafone)
  • Egypt (Vodafone)
  • Greece (Vodafone)
  • Portugal (Vodafone)
  • New Zealand (Vodafone)

  • Latin America (unspecified but America Movil has the rights)
