Omantel 1Q Profit After Tax Jumps 60%

Oman Telecommunications Company, or Omantel, said Monday its 2008 first quarter net profit after tax rose 60% to 38.4 million Omani rials ($99.9 million), compared with OMR24 million for the same period in 2007.
