At&t Names Donovan Chief Technology Officer

AT&T has appointed John Donovan as chief technology officer, succeeding Chris Rice who assumed the new role of executive vice president of shared services.

The San Antonio telecommunications company said Donovan previously served as executive vice president of product, sales, marketing and operations at Verisign, a technology company that provides Internet infrastructure services.
