Intelek Wins Satellite Modem Order from GSM Operator

Satellite modem developer, Intelek has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Paradise Datacom, has received a $0.6m order for their new generation PD10 & PD25 Evolution Series satellite modems, deliverable over the next three months, from an unnamed GSM operator in North West Africa.

Paradise Datacom, with manufacturing plants in the UK and US, is a leading supplier of Satcom equipment solutions and offers a comprehensive array of ground equipment, including Satellite Modems, Solid State Power Amplifiers, Low Noise Amplifiers, Block-Up Converters and Transceivers.

The modems will be used to improve voice call quality and provide value added services as well as extend the network’s coverage.

Paradise Datacom have been actively involved in the African Satcom market for many years. Its product range is used extensively by system integrators, celcom and telecom companies and users of data communications in almost every African country.
