FRANKFURT -(Dow Jones)- German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom is lowering the price of Apple's handset iPhone in Germany down to EUR99 in a two-month campaign, Deutsche Telekom said Thursday.
The iPhone costs a minimum EUR399 in Germany.
The new offer runs from April 7, to June 30 for the iPhone with a 8 gigabyte memory, the Bonn-based company said.
The EUR99-deal is only valid in combination with a premium "XL" contract for which the customer pays at least EUR89 a month.
Deutsche Telekom has also introduced a starter contract for EUR29 a month - the handset then costs EUR249.
