Spurned Wife of Phone Retailer Sets Fire to 400 Mobile Phones

A Chinese woman set fire to over 400 mobile phones belonging to her husband after he walked out on their marriage. The state owned Xinhua news agency said the 37-year-old woman was later arrested for arson.
The couple had run a mobile phone retail outlet in Weifang, the eastern province of Shandong - but the relationship ended last week following months of bitter arguments
The report said Wang was overcome with despair and gathered their entire new stock of phones - valued at more than 300,000 yuan ($42,000) - on the bed, poured kerosene on them and set them alight, before leaving the home too.
Neighbors who saw smoke coming from the house called firefighters, who extinguished the blaze.
