WARSAW -(Dow Jones)- Poland's fixed-line telephone
operator Netia Holdings said over the weekend it sold its
23.4% stake in mobile operator Play for EUR130 million to Tolleron
Investments, and Icelandic investment fund Novator Telecom.
Netia will use proceeds from the transaction to finance its strategic plans to develop broadband internet services.
The price of the stake will increase if Tolleron Investmentas and Novator decide to sell Play stake within 12 months.
