Mauro Montanaro, 43, has been named Chief Executive Officer of mobile content provider, Jamba - the company behind the Crazy Frog phenomenon. Mr. Montanaro joins Jamba after more than a decade at Nokia, where he most recently headed cell phone sales and channel development for the South East Asia Pacific region.

Jamba, a joint venture between News Corp and VeriSign serves 35 territories around the world with a wide array of mobile products and services. It also houses the assets of Fox Mobile Entertainment.

Commenting on Mr. Montanaro's appointment, Peter Chernin, President and Chief Operating Officer of News Corporation said: "Mauro's considerable experience in developing mobile content channels and services will be a huge asset as Jamba continues to expand its reach and offering. Over the past few months, COO Lee Fenton has done a terrific job in moving the company forward and we think we're in a position today to make a significant impact on the global wireless market. We look forward to building on that success and believe Mauro and Lee will make a first-class management team."

Mr. Montanaro said: "I am thrilled to be joining Jamba at a point in its evolution where we have a real opportunity to influence the future of mobile entertainment. The global market for wireless entertainment is exploding and we have the unique ability to produce, market and distribute mobile content and services globally. It's an enviable position and I look forward to working closely with Lee and the teams in Los Angeles, Berlin and around the world to capitalize on it."
