Police officers from the Narpoli police station in India's Maharashtra State, just outside Mumbai have arrested a criminal gang which were involved in several robberies in the area. The police recovered a total of 131 BlackBerry phones from the robbers.
Police said Gangaram Jadhav, Ibrahim Khan, Dhanraj Jadhav, Tunda Jadhav, Laxman Chavan, Basa Rathod, Pavan Kumar Singh, and Dukhran Yadav were arrested on Wednesday night while on their way to rob a godown - the local name for a warehouse.
The police say that the same gang had robbed a Vodafone Essar warehouse earlier this month.
