T-Mobile Offers Free Wi-Fi to 3G Subscribers

T-Mobile UK has announced a tariff change which offers a combined 3G and Wi-Fi service to its customers. The new service enables free Wi-Fi access when combined with one of the company's mobile data tariffs.

Richard Warmsley, T-Mobile's Head of Internet on the Move, said: "We've already built a market-leading high-speed 3G network nationwide, now we're strengthening our lead in mobile broadband by adding our wi-fi HotSpots to web'n'walk Plus / Max price plans. So as well as comprehensive 3G HSDPA coverage, you can be sure of a fast connection where it matters most " whether it's in Starbucks, the airport, train stations or any other HotSpot location - at no extra cost"

The new service costs from £12.50 per month when connecting with a Flext mobile phone contract. T-Mpobile says that it has 1,200 hotspots around the UK.
