SK Group Targets 2008 Sales at KRW82 Trillion, Up 5.1% Vs 2007
SEOUL -(Dow Jones)- SK Group said Wednesday it targets sales to rise 5.1% to KRW82 trillion ($87.6 billion) in 2008, from KRW78 trillion last year.
SK Group, which has SK Energy and SK Telecom as its flagship units, plans to invest a total of KRW8 trillion this year, up 14% from last year's KRW7 trillion, said the business conglomerate in a statement.
Of the investment, it plans to spend KRW1.1 trillion on research and development, 10% more than the KRW1 trillion in 2007.
It aims to increase exports to KRW30 trillion this year, up 15% from last year's KRW26 trillion, the company said.
