Mobile telephony operators in Paraguay posted revenues of US$357mn in the first 10 months of 2007, up 20.6% compared to the same period last year, local press reported, citing data from Paraguay's economy ministry.
During 2006, the operators generated revenues of US$345mn.
The country's mobile operators are Telecel, a unit of Luxembourg-based Millicom International Cellular, Hola, which is backed by Japanese investors, Telecom Argentina's unit Personal and Mexican giant América Móvil's unit CTI Móvil.
