MetroPCS Selects ZTE Handsets

ZTE USA has announced that cellular carrier, MetroPCS has signed an agreement to purchase its CDMA PCS and AWS handsets. MetroPCS will begin selling ZTE's handsets in stores starting in January, 2008.

MetroPCS has approximately 3.7 million subscribers and offers service in the Miami, Orlando, Sarasota, Tampa, Daytona, Melbourne, Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sacramento metropolitan areas.
