Mformation Wins New Zealand Handset Manager Contract
Telecom New Zealand has signed a contract to use technology from Mformation Technologies to remotely enable new mobile data services, and to provision, configure, diagnose and manage feature phones and smart devices through all phases of their life.
"We expect our mobile device management solution to play a pivotal role in helping us deliver a customer experience that is totally seamless and intuitive, driving up the adoption of new devices and advanced data services," said Jason Foden, Head of Mobile Products for Telecom Consumer. "Telecom will use Mformation Service Manager as the core technology platform for remotely managing business and consumer devices for all of our mobile subscribers. Working with Mformation will be critical to helping us meet our commitment to improved service levels for both business and consumer customers."
As the Telecom network expands and new value-added services are created, the Mformation solution ensures that the devices in the subscribers' hands are always optimized and working. Mformation's ability to manage devices across both CDMA- and GSM-based network technologies is unmatched in the marketplace. This was an important factor, given Telecom's decision to invest in WCDMA-based network technology.
