German Telecom Regulator to Cut Mobile Call Charges - Sources

FRANKFURT -(Dow Jones)- German network regulator Bundesnetzagentur will lower charges for calls to the four German mobile-phone network operators, people in the industry told Dow Jones Newswires Friday.

According to the people, the two larger operators T-Mobile Deutschland and Vodafone Deutschland will receive around EUR0.079 per transferred call, down from EUR0.088 previously.

Their two smaller competitors, E-Plus and O2, will get EUR0.088, down from EUR0.099, according to the people.

The new charges will be in effect until March 2009, they said. The previous charging regime expires Friday.
