Louis Vuitton Supplying Mobile Phone Cases to Bang & Olufsen
Following on from the launch of their new mobile phone in October, Bang & Olufsen says that it has contracted with luxury goods company, Louis Vuitton to supply leather cases for their phones.
Bang & Olufsen says that Louis Vuitton has created a leather holster for their music mobile, Serenata. It is made from Nomade leather and protects the music phone, yet leaves it open for easy operation and access to all the features. Tanned with plant extracts, natural cowhide leather develops an elegant copper-toned patina with time. The lining is made of micro fibres, and for the fashion label fans - stamped with the Louis Vuitton name at the bottom.
Serenata's click wheel navigation gives users simple and easy operation of the phone's functions. There are very few actual keys, with the wheel being used for all primary operation supported by on-screen operation based on sensi-touch technology. A large 2.4-inch colour LCD display developed by Samsung allows Serenata to show album covers in high resolution and facilitates on-screen navigation.
The phone comes with 4GB of memory and supports HSDPA connectivity. The handset is manufactured by Samsung.
