Nokia UK Ships Millionth N95 Phone
Nokia says that it's N95 mobile phone multimedia computer
has sold one million units in the UK since its launch in April this year. The Nokia N95
comes with a pioneering 2-way slide concept, integrated GPS functionality, a 5
megapixel camera and support for high-speed mobile networks.
"The Nokia N95 has more than lived up to the hype around its launch as one of the must-have gadgets this year - sealed by hitting the one million sales mark." said Andrew Connell, head of multimedia, Nokia UK. "The N95 not only looks good, but also packs a punch by delivering on a groundbreaking features set that takes mobile communication to a new level in convergence devices."
The Nokia N95 is based on the Series 60 software, on Symbian OS and was originally shown to the public in September 2006.
