MADRID -(Dow Jones)- Spanish telecommunications company Jazztel said Monday it had signed an exclusive agreement with France Telecom to look at ways for Jazztel to offer mobile phone services over the French carrier's Spanish network.

In a filing with Spain's stock market regulator, Jazztel said it would work together with France Telecom's mobile unit Orange, with the intention of launching a cell phone service for Jazztel in the coming months.

Jazztel currently offers high-speed Internet, fixed-line telephony and a pay-TV service in Spain.
