A company which specializes in selling gadgets for geeks has developed a T-Shirt with an electronic display which fluctuates depending on the strength of local Wi-Fi signals. The black t-shirt - which will be released shortly - shows signal strength for 802.11b or 802.11g, although it cannot distinguish between secure and "free" WiFi services.
The t-shirt does need an external power supply, which is sewn into the back of the shirt. A cartoon of a WiFi radio tower glows when it detects a signal, and the decal can be removed for washing.
As ThinkGeek says "Finally you can get the attention you deserve as others bow to you as their reverential wi-fi god, while geeky chicks swoon at your presence. You can thank us later."
