Move to Promote Japanese 3D Mobile Games in South Korea

South Korea's SK Telecom (SKT) and HI Korea (HIK) say that they have signed an agreement to jointly promote publishing and marketing to enrich the Korean mobile 3D game market. This collaborative project is established with the aim of selecting and attracting content suitable for Korean market needs, including the objective preliminary review of content by evaluation organizations and technical / marketing support.

In addition, the project aims to attract famous Japanese content titles, and SKT and HIK have an investment plan for encouraging Japanese game companies to publish their game titles in Korea.

At the execution of this agreement, a spokesperson for SKT remarked, "We are thrilled to be able to contribute to the growth of the Korean game market through this project. We also appreciate the cooperation of Japanese game developers."

"We are very pleased to be able to cooperate in the overseas deployment of Japanese 3D games with strong on-site support," said Tatsuya Fujisawa, HIK's CEO. "We expect that this project will further promote the use of MascotCapsule(R) in the Korean market and will be a model case for creating and developing the market of MascotCapsule based 3D games overseas."

SKT and HIK say that they expect that this project will enhance the mobile 3D game market activation in South Korea.
