Nokia's luxury arm, Vertu has launched a limited edition handset with the Ferrari brand-name, known as the Vertu Ascent Ferrari 60. Just sixty handsets will be sold, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Ferrari company.
The handset is made from titanium and even uses the same screws as used on Ferarri cars. The back is clad in the same leather as used on the car seats, and the back is decorated with the gear shift in titanium. Oddly, the box also includes a valve from a Ferrari F1 car as a keepsake. Owners will also be able to claim a refurbishment of the leather cover every six months as part of the package.
No pricing details were available - but Vertu handsets do not tend to be in the low-cost end of the market.
A slightly less "limited" edition Ferrari handset was launched back in March, which comes with a red leather backing.
