First WiMAX Network in Gabon

IBN Corporate has ordered WiMAX kit from Redline Communications for the first WiMAX network in Gabon. IBN Corporate launched its WiMax services to businesses and residents in Libreville, Gabon on the 27th April, 2007 and will extend its network to serve Port-Gentil and Franceville in Gabon in October 2007 and January 2008.

Radiall Systems has installed Redline's WiMAX Forum Certified RedMAX AN-100U sector controllers throughout the city of Libreville, enabling IBN Corporate to serve more than a thousand users per base station. Radiall Systems also incorporated Redline's RedCONNEX broadband wireless infrastructure products to provide backhaul connections to each of the RedMAX base stations.
