The USA based, Qwest Communications says that it has added the ultra-rugged Sanyo SCP-7050 to its lineup of mobile phones. The Sanyo SCP-7050 meets official U.S. Military Standard 810F specifications for vibration, dust and shock and features a speakerphone, tough rubber Dura-Grip and voice-activated dialing.
In addition to withstanding harsh physical demands, the Sanyo SCP-7050 supports the latest communications features that business professionals expect, including autonomous global positioning system (GPS) functionality and Bluetooth wireless headset readiness.
"This latest phone from Qwest is perfect for people who work in rugged industries and equally great for people who like to play hard," said Frank Simanson, vice president of product at Qwest. "So, whether you're an avid rock climber or a construction foreman, this is the phone for you."
