AT&T Needs 550 More Retail Store Employees in Northern California
Two months after the launch of the iPhone, AT&T has announced that 550 new retail store employees will be hired in Northern California to meet the increasing demand for AT&T voice and data services.
The sales and customer service positions are located in nearly all of AT&T's 100 company-owned retail stores throughout Northern California and Reno ? including in and around the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento and Fresno ? and are expected to be filled within the next 90 days.
"Our retail stores are one of our key competitive differentiators and allow customers to work face to face with our retail sales consultants," said Fred Devereux, vice president and general manager of AT&T's wireless operations in Northern California and Reno.
