Intec Wins Pacific Deployment Contract from Digicel

Intec says that Digicel Pacific is deploying it's InterconnecT v7.1 across all its Pacific affiliates. Digicel Pacific is a sister company to long-term Intec customer, Digicel Caribbean. Digicel's adoption of Intec billing technology is part of a strategy that will create an integrated framework to facilitate the settlement of all wholesale traffic within its network affiliates via a centralised location.

Currently the Digicel affiliates within the South Pacific include its successful deployment and operations in Samoa, with upcoming locations such as Papua New Guinea and Fiji.

Digicel Pacific's IT Director, Eugene O'Shaughnessy said: "We selected Intec's Interconnect v7.1 because of its position as the global market leader and because we have established such a strong relationship with the company in our core Caribbean operations."
