DoCoMo: To Temporarily Halt Sales Of 1 Cellphone Model

TOKYO -(Dow Jones)- NTT DoCoMo said Wednesday that it will temporarily halt sales of one of its mobile phone handset models due to a possible malfunction that erases users' telephone directories and other data.

The Japanese mobile phone service giant said it will stop selling the SO903iTV model after receiving 95 complaints from users. The company had sold about 27,000 units of the model as of Tuesday.
