Movistar Reaches 12mn Subscribers at End-May

Argentine mobile operator Movistar Argentina had 12mn clients at the end of May, an increase of 32.7% compared to the same time a year ago, the company said in a statement.

Movistar Argentina, a unit of Spanish giant Telefónica, expects to reach 1mn 3G subscribers in 2010.

The company also forecasts the total number of mobile users should hit 15mn by 2010."
