Telmex Expands WiMax to Calama

The Chilean unit of Mexican fixed line giant Telmex has expanded its WiMax services to the northern city of Calama, Telmex Chile said in a statement.

With the launch in Calama, located in the Atacama desert, Telmex has WiMax services in 20 cities throughout Chile.

Telmex launched WiMax in March of this year in 15 cities. The service is mainly oriented toward SMEs."
