InfoSpace Expands Verizon Wireless Contract

InfoSpace says that it has extended its existing mobile content relationship with Verizon Wireless to includ its enhanced Mobile Web 2.0SM service. InfoSpace's relationship with Verizon Wireless includes key components of the platform's suite of services. InfoSpace provides hosting, infrastructure and subscription management capabilities from its platform to power Verizon Wireless' Mobile Web 2.0 service.

"InfoSpace's Mobile Services Platform allows us to bring our customers an excellent mobile Web-browsing experience and easy access to relevant content and information while on?the-go," said Jesse Money, executive director of consumer multimedia data services for Verizon Wireless. "A key selling point for us was the flexibility of the platform that allowed us to tailor pieces to fit our needs for this deployment and we?re pleased to continue our long standing relationship with them."
