Three New Phones from Nokia

Nokia has launched 3 new handsets, one style based phone and two variants of a more standard handset. The Nokia 8600 Luna is quad band, has a 2 megapixel camera and is their first phone to come with a micro-USB port. Standby is a respectable 10 days and it weighs 143 grams.

The Nokia 6500 is a 3G and quad-band GSM handset with an internal memory of 1GB and 2 megapixel camera - supported by LED flash. It uses the mid-range Series 40 user interface. The sliding version of the phone features a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics along with autofocus and an 8x digital zoom. The phone also comes with a TV socket which can connect to any TV with RCA inputs.

The Nokia 8600 Luna is expected to be available during the 2nd quarter of 2007 at an estimated retail price of €700 before taxes and subsidies. The Nokia 6500 classic is expected to be available during the 3rd quarter of 2007 at an estimated retail price of €320 before taxes and subsidies, and the slider version will sell for €50 more.
