DoCoMo Had Network Problems Across Japan Wed Afternoon

TOKYO -(Dow Jones)- NTT DoCoMo said Wednesday its network had problems that temporarily affected voice and data services for some users across Japan.

The carrier's network experienced troubles for about 90 minutes Wednesday afternoon in both its 2G and 3G networks due to problems with a switchboard, a company spokesman said.

He added the company was still investigating the cause and number of users affected, and that the company had received 1,074 inquiries from subscribers on the matter.
