The project will connect some 6,000 homes, 215 businesses, 230 rural schools and 70 health centers at a total cost of 400mn pesos (US$765,000) The project will be connected through the Fibra Óptica Austral project, being installed by telecoms operator Telsur and designed to provide digital communications in southern Chile.
