Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. continued to be haunted by the contraction of the market for fixed-line telephone services and increasing competition in the mobile phone sector as the company incurred a profit fall in fiscal 2006 for the third consecutive year, according to a consolidated earnings report released Friday."
